Hi, I’m Jen—certified dog trainer, enrichment nerd, and the human behind Pawsome Dogs. I believe in training through kindness, communication, and a whole lotta play. If you’re local to Northwest Indiana and looking for help with puppy basics, leash manners, or problem behaviors, I’d love to help.

Convenient Hours

With hours from 9am-6pm Mon-Fri, and 8am-7pm on Saturdays, there are hours for everyone. If you need a time outside normal working hours, just contact me, and I'll do whatever I can to get you on the calendar ASAP.

In-Home Training

Home is where you and your dog should be the happiest and most comfortable, so you stay put and I'll come to you. A happy, relaxed dog is an engaged dog!

I cannot recommend her enough! I have 2 German Shepherds that are loud mouths. Within just a couple of days with Jen’s training, I can already see a difference. She is the most sweetest, caring person and really explains everything great without overwhelming you. She even sent a follow up email with all the information for me to reference later incase I forgot something!

I definitely recommend Jen. She helped me learn how to work with my Malx puppy, using play and rewards to train the basics, keeping him engaged. Jen was very helpful and understanding when I had questions about my dogs training. She was great with my dog and my dog loved her and was excited to train when she came over.
